As trainee marketing executive, you’ll contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns for both RFS Marketing & Communications Ltd and our clients, to help promote products or services. This a varied role, which includes:
- Planning
- Advertising
- Public relations
- Product or service development
- Social media marketing
- Market research
- Website development
- Email marketing
Responsibilities
As a trainee marketing executive, you’ll need to work under supervision on behalf of RFS Marketing for our clients. This will include projects to:
- Create awareness of and develop the client’s brand
- Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
- Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
- Support colleagues in delivering agreed activities for clients
- Explore advertising opportunities and place adverts in appropriate media
- Work closely with in-house and/or external partners to design marketing materials such as brochures, adverts and social media content
- Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
- Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
- Run social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement
- Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
- Source and secure sponsorship
- Liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots
- Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
- Maintain and update customer databases
- Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
Requirements:
- GCSE English grade C or above or equivalent
- A good standard of written and spoken communications
- The ability to work under supervision and direction
- An understanding of, and interest in, at least some aspects of digital marketing, such as social media, email and websites
- Computer literacy (including Microsoft packages)
